About us
Founded in 2009, ONYX pairs a small design core with a large network of engineers and craftsmen. We take on a handful of buildings a year so every project gets the same partners from concept to keys.
Our work has been recognized with 18 international awards, but the number we care about most is one: a single point of responsibility for the whole build.

International Art Museum
A daylight-driven gallery building organized around one continuous ramp, opening to the river on every level.

Most studios hand a building over three times — architect to engineer, engineer to contractor, contractor to client. We don’t. The same four disciplines sit in one room from the first sketch onwards.
